1-Então alguns que tinham descido da Judéia ensinavam assim os irmãos: Se não vos circuncidardes conforme o uso de Moisés, não podeis salvar-vos.
2-Tendo tido Paulo e Barnabé não pequena discussão e contenda contra eles, resolveu-se que Paulo e Barnabé, e alguns dentre eles, subissem a Jerusalém, aos apóstolos e aos anciãos, sobre aquela questão.
3-E eles, sendo acompanhados pela igreja, passavam pela Fenícia e por Samaria, contando a conversão dos gentios; e davam grande alegria a todos os irmãos.
4-E, quando chegaram a Jerusalém, foram recebidos pela igreja e pelos apóstolos e anciãos, e lhes anunciaram quão grandes coisas Deus tinha feito com eles.
5-Alguns, porém, da seita dos fariseus, que tinham crido, se levantaram, dizendo que era mister circuncidá-los e mandar-lhes que guardassem a lei de Moisés.
Congregaram-se, pois, os apóstolos e os anciãos para considerar este assunto.
6-E, havendo grande contenda, levantou-se Pedro e disse-lhes: Homens irmãos, bem sabeis que já há muito tempo Deus me elegeu dentre nós, para que os gentios ouvissem da minha boca a palavra do evangelho, e cressem.
7-E Deus, que conhece os corações, lhes deu testemunho, dando-lhes o Espírito Santo, assim como também a nós;
8-E não fez diferença alguma entre eles e nós, purificando os seus corações pela fé.
9-Agora, pois, por que tentais a Deus, pondo sobre a cerviz dos discípulos um jugo que nem nossos pais nem nós pudemos suportar?
10-Mas cremos que seremos salvos pela graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo, como eles também.
11-Então toda a multidão se calou e escutava a Barnabé e a Paulo, que contavam quão grandes sinais e prodígios Deus havia feito por meio deles entre os gentios.
12-E, havendo-se eles calado, tomou Tiago a palavra, dizendo: Homens irmãos, ouvi-me:
13-Simão relatou como primeiramente Deus visitou os gentios, para tomar deles um povo para o seu nome.
14-E com isto concordam as palavras dos profetas; como está escrito:
15-Depois disto voltarei, E reedificarei o tabernáculo de Davi, que está caído, Levantá-lo-ei das suas ruínas, E tornarei a edificá-lo.
16-Para que o restante dos homens busque ao Senhor, E todos os gentios, sobre os quais o meu nome é invocado, Diz o Senhor, que faz todas estas coisas,
17-Conhecidas são a Deus, desde o princípio do mundo, todas as suas obras.
18-Por isso julgo que não se deve perturbar aqueles, dentre os gentios, que se convertem a Deus.
19-Mas escrever-lhes que se abstenham das contaminações dos ídolos, da prostituição, do que é sufocado e do sangue.
20-Porque Moisés, desde os tempos antigos, tem em cada cidade quem o pregue, e cada sábado é lido nas sinagogas.
Sempre temos que dar testemunho,e sair por ai contando as maravilhas que somente DEUS faz,eu sou grato a ele todos os dias,e sei que dele vem todo meu sustento,e sua PALAVRA sempre foi e sempre será o meu alimento!
Acts 15
1-Some men came down from Judaea taught the brethren, "Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, ye can not save you.
2-Having Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, decided that Paul and Barnabas, and some of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
3-And they, being sent by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, the conversion of the Gentiles, and brought great joy to all the brothers.
4-And when they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders, and told them how great things God had done with them.
5-Some, however, the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying it was necessary to circumcise them and enjoin them to keep the law of Moses.Gathered together, because the apostles and elders to consider this matter.
6-E, having much disputing, Peter rose up and said to them: Men brethren, ye know that long ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles might hear from my mouth the word of the gospel and believe.
7-And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, as well as to us;
8-And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
9-Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put on the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
10-But we believe that we are saved by grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, as they.
11-Then the whole crowd was silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul, who told how great signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.
12-And when they finished speaking, James answered, saying, "Brothers, listen to me:
13-Simon related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take them a people for his name.
14-And to this agree the words of the prophets, as it is written:
15-After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David that has fallen down so I will rebuild its ruins, And I will turn to build it.
16-For the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord who does all these things,
17-Known unto God are from the beginning of the world, all his works.
18-So I think we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God.But
19-write them to abstain from pollutions of idols and from fornication and from things strangled and blood.
20-For Moses from ancient times, has in every city those who preach, and is read every Sabbath in the synagogues.
We always have that give testimony, and go around telling the wonders that only God does, I am grateful to him every day, and I know it has all my support, and his word has always been and always will be my food!
